- Version History
-
- 2.2 October 7, 1994
- • Now has an option to create a quick listing of an entire disk,
- placing an output file at the top level of all first level sub-folders
- of the selected path.
- • fixed a couple minor cosmetic bugs with the QuickList and listings
- with the "Some Paths" option turned on.
-
- 2.1 July 30, 1994
- • Now has an option to create a tab-delimited output file,
- suitable for import into a database or spreadsheet.
- • Now has an option to not recursively list source folders.
-
- 2.0.1 May 28, 1994
- • Compatible with MacKennel
-
- 2.0 January 13, 1994
- (these are the changes between 2.0b5 and 2.0 final)
- • the "Text File Type" option is not active if Configure Window is active.
- • segmented the code resources.
- • added balloon help for most things.
- • the scrolling lists on the Configure window autoscroll to the selected item.
- • now writes the output file name to the Tabby log.
- • writes the free space more often.
- • centers the "GetFolder" dialog on the screen.
- • added an STR# resource with Tabby messages.
- • fixed a bug where it would just exittoshell rather than launching next
- if a disk error occurred during a Tabby event. Writes the error message to
- the Tabby log.
-
- 2.0b5 January 2, 1994
- • rearranged the items on the "Scan" window.
- • fixed a bug where path errors would sometimes occur on non-boot volumes,
- depending on what order the volumes or partitions mounted.
- • if an Output can't be created due to a path error, it is ignored rather than
- displaying as a blank line in the Configure list.
-
- 2.0b4 December 29, 1993
- • added QuickList option to quickly generate lists with default settings.
- • fixed a bug on the Standard folder dialog.
- • fixed minor problem with display lists when a new output is added.
- • Size in k is 1 k too small.
- • uncheck checked items when no source or output is selected.
- • added command key equivalents for many of the menu commands.
-
- 2.0b3 December 22, 1993
- • If a Source volume is not available, the offending Source is ignored. If the
- missing Source is an offline AppleShare volume, and if you don't re-configure your
- Outputs and Sources (and re-write the prefs file) prior to quitting, then
- if the AppleShare volume is back online next time you run SitC Lister,
- the Source will be scanned. If, however, you do anything to get the prefs
- re-written, then the Source will be forgotten.
- • 2.0b1 had a bug where the last path item on AppleShare volumes would be repeated.
- 2.0b2 fixed that bug, but then the last path item on non-Appleshare volumes
- were ignored. 2.0b3 hopefully puts that bug to rest for good.
- • Fixed a bug where the parent directory of the Source would not be written if
- the "Only Paths" option was selected.
-
- 2.0b2 December 21, 1993
- • Fixed a bug where the directory header would have the last volume repeated.
- • Fixed a bug where hitting Cancel would not cancel right away.
-
- 2.0b1 December 20, 1993
- • First beta for public release
